(St Brelade's College is a Pole-Island Direct Platinum Partner)

St Brelade's College was founded by Donald Brown in 1978. His aim was to provide quality English courses for international students in the beautiful surroundings of Jersey. The school is now run by his son, Sid Brown whose goal is to build on the key ingredients that have made the school such a success over the past 30 years: delivering a professional service in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The college remains open throughout the year, providing a range of fully inclusive English courses for all ages and interests, plus homestay, residence or hotel accommodation, weekly activity & social programme, daily school bus and airport or harbour transfers.

Our year-round school is situated above the picturesque
harbour village of St Aubin, a ten minute drive along the bay from Jersey’s main town, St Helier. The school has 12 classrooms, a student lounge and two internet & self-study access centres.

In the summer, the main school is exclusively used for adults and older teenagers on intensive courses, with separate campuses for younger students. At other times of year – especially during school holidays – there may be groups of younger students studying at the school. Except in exceptional circumstances students under the age of 18 are not accepted in adult classes.

A separate computer room is provided for adults to have exclusive use of computers. All other areas of the school are shared by adults and younger learners. Occasionally there may be peak times when extra classrooms are required. Normally these will be for private classes, and in such cases, the school will always find nearby rooms of a similar standard to those found at the school and provide transport for students. The school is not equipped to accept students who require wheelchair access.
